Mary recognizes that a divorce or other family law litigation is a very stressful time in a client’s life.   Mary listens to her clients’ concerns and goals, and she considers those concerns and goals when creating a strategy for a case.  Mary works closely with clients to achieve the best possible outcomes under the circumstances, whether that be by settlement or litigation.  Mary handles challenges presented with legal and emotional intelligence. 

Professional Background

Mary joined the firm in May 2010 as an associate attorney.  Before joining B&A, Mary was employed at a boutique family law firm in Chicago.  During law school, Mary externed with a Cook County Circuit Court family law judge and participated in Chicago-Kent’s Family Law Clinic.  Mary also previously worked as a law clerk at a Chicago medical malpractice defense firm.  During her undergraduate studies, Mary interned with the McLean County Chief Judge and with Mid-Central Community Action as a domestic violence victim advocate.
