Isabella Romano takes pride in her ability to closely connect with her clients in all practice areas and strategize with them about their case in a clear, understanding way. She understands that navigating the legal system can be extremely challenging, and aims to make the process meaningfully comprehensible while providing the best possible outcome for her clients.
Isabella Romano joined the firm in January of 2021. Prior to her work as a law clerk and later associate attorney at Bruning & Associates, Isabella worked at Chicago-Kent College of Law’s CK Law Group, one of the nation’s largest law school legal clinics. She has held additional positions as law clerk at the Cook County Public Defender’s Office and the Illinois Federal Defender Program.
Prior to law school, Isabella worked as a legal assistant at a family law firm in Boston, Massachusetts.

While at Chicago-Kent College of Law, Isabella Romano was an active member of Chicago Kent’s Trial Advocacy Team and Trial Advocacy Program, which is currently ranked #4 in the county by U.S. News & World Report. She also received the 2021 Fleischman Family Award for Excellence in Criminal Clinic, and the CALI Award for achieving the highest grade in International Criminal Law.
